We have been working on some new shows, one of which is another Round Table. In the upcoming Round Table it’s Mykey Fresh with friends Jamal and Frank, as they talk about The Flash. In that discussion Arrow came up of course. So there will also be a show covering along with a post on this site. The Solo Act of this month belongs to BigL and it will arrive later this month. So keep a lookout for these shows coming down the pipe.
As of now Wakfu is available on Netflix, I have started watching the show. So far it is ok, If you don’t know what Wakfu is, it’s a MMORPG. At first I wasn’t aware of even the term (Wakfu) until last year’s comic-con, when a cosplayer choose one of the characters. It piqued my interest to find out more, I found out it was a MMORPG. I didn’t play the game, at that time (and still to some extant) I’m not a big MMO player. So I happened upon Wakfu on Netflix, and I thought of that cosplayer. You can check it out here
The anime originally came out Oct 2008 and ended Mar 2012, it has two seasons. However Netflix only has the first season, it does have an english dub which was Kickstarted back in Jan 2014. We will have a review of this anime later; but if you want more info check out. http://www.wakfu.com
Your girlfriends favorite rapper gets flagged for tampering with Kevin Durant, Mo’ne Davis is on fire and we tell you why your Christmas is going to suck this year.
So, I have been trying EA Access for a little less than a month now. I like it I may purchase the year ($5 per month/$30 per year), as of right now there are only four games available in the vault (Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden 25, and Peggle 2).
The unfortunate thing is the service is only available for Xbox One, Sony reasoning for not providing the service was they felt it wasn’t a good value. Which is a cop out mainly because it would conflict with PS Now, that’s another debate entirely. Now I personally have played most of these games, if not still own, already but just one. First of all I’m not the biggest fan of this sport but the game as well as the sport has begun to grow on me.
It’s funny how the World Cup did nothing, or my co-workers, to change my feelings toward this sport. But this games has, so much that I think I may get this year’s game along with Madden 15. Speaking of Madden 15 with EA Access you get to play 6 hours of the game which is a fair amount of time to get a feel for the game. I hope they do this more often, but for games that don’t get marketed a lot.
It seems like a waste on a game most people would buy anyway, but there won’t be a demo for it this year. I think it is a pretty good deal as long as they add more games to the vault and not subtract, the price is pretty reasonable. I do see other publishers doing this if it works out for EA, but all and all so far I like it. Now I’m going to play some FIFA lol
BigL and I have different taste in games and anime, so we decided to showcase those tastes in OA: Solo Acts. We started doing them by accident but now we will do them every month switching every other month. So I hope you enjoy them, here are some of them
When faced with elimination who stands up against the pressure? The Heat find themselves in the final hour versus the Spurs. Can they make a comeback for the ages? Also we debate the hypothetical scenario of Carmelo Anthony joining the Big 3 in Miami now that he is a free agent. Plus, another team on the verge of certain ousting. The New York Rangers staved off elimination to survive another day but how long can it last without Rick Nash playing up to par of a star? We also discuss Donald Sterling’s desire to exact revenge on the NBA and why if your the father of a girl on the Palisades High School Basketball team you might have to have words with Ron Artest????
